Hey Maya & Ladies! It is an honor to be acknowledged during a time when I am feeling so very brokenhearted. If anyone is able to receive understanding or confirmation of their faith from my pain then that is a blessing in itself. I assure you, that if not for God I would not be able to breathe right now. I've never experienced such unimaginable pain. I questioned my purpose after losing my o ly son so tragically. A son I tried to shield from everything and ensure he would not be statistic & become a successful black man. Then this... However, I am so very proud if the man he showed everyone. He was not perfect, but also not ashamed to share his faith and tell his friends about God. I could not be a more proud mom ❤ Such an outpouring of love from his schools, the community, family & friends. Every event in his honor was overwhelmingly packed. Bowie State intends to establish a scholarship in his honor. His last position held on the royal court was Mr. Black & Gold c/o 2021. Thanks again for remembering my son ❤❤❤
